Course Description
This course requires each student to carry out a project devoted to an investigation of a given topic or design and construction of an engineering component or system. In this semester the student writes a proposal that is presented before a panel of academic staff.

Objectives/ Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student should be able to:
 Isolate a need or a problem requiring a system design or study
 Formulate a proposal including the background to the problem, proposed
methodology, and review of existing literature on the topic.
